ACP : Attorney for the Customs Procedures
For shipping the goods to Amazon FBA warehouse when you have no one in Japan who can act as a consignee,
you can nominate someone in Japan as an “Attorney for the Customs Procedure”, because Amazon cannot be your importer.
The Japanese customs requires a payment of import tariffs and consumption tax at the time of import and sees if the
declared values of the products are fair and correct.
Once registration number is granted, the registration is valid forever unless the attorney is dismissed.
