Skip labeling your new FBA inventory and save
Last published: November 10, 2016
Did you know you can use the existing manufacturer barcodes (including GCID, UPC, EAN, JAN, or ISBN) on your eligible products to identify and track your inventory throughout the Amazon fulfillment process? This means you no longer have to label your individual items, saving you both time and money.
For shipments received between October 3rd and December 31st, you can save $0.08 on Pick & Pack fees for every item you currently label or new items that you add to FBA and send to Amazon fulfillment centers that are tracked using the manufacturer barcode. This credit will appear in your Payments report in January 2017.
For more information on eligibility requirements and how to use the manufacturer barcode to track your inventory, see the Use the manufacturer barcode and save on Pick & Pack fees(sign-in required) help page.

Reminder: Box content information required after November 1
Last published: October 18, 2016
Effective November 1, 2016, you must provide box content information for each box sent to Amazon. By providing box content information, your products move through our fulfillment network more efficiently and become available for sale sooner.
If you choose not to provide this information, Amazon will need to process your box contents manually for a fee of $0.15 per unit in November and December. The fee will be $0.10 per unit for January through October. If you provide box content information, you will not be charged this fee.
For more information on how to provide box content information, watch our training video or learn more on Seller Central (sign-in required).
Important change to FBA Small and Light program
Last published: October 18, 2016
We are temporarily closing enrollment for new products in the FBA Small and Light program to ensure we have the necessary capacity to receive and store inventory of products that are already enrolled in the program and to meet our customer delivery promise. We will notify sellers when the situation changes. We apologize for any inconvenience.
If you have products that are already enrolled in the program, you may continue to send shipments of those products to Amazon. To determine which of your products are enrolled in the Small and Light program, refer to your Small & Light Inventory report.
