Amazon Sellers: Easily add box content 2D barcodes to your FBA inbound shipping labels!
Amazon recently announced that sellers will have to comply with a new FBA (Fullfillment By Amazon) box content requirement. As of November 1, when sellers send inbound shipments to Amazon's FBA warehouses, they need to provide Amazon with the content information for each box. One option is to print a special 2D barcode (either PDF417, QR code or DataMatrix) on each FBA label that contains the details of the box contents. Sellers who don’t comply will be charged between $.10 and $.15 for each item sent to FBA.
Formtastic, Quadrant Software’s IBM i spool file modernization solution, makes it easy to create and customize shipping labels using data on your IBM i. This mean that you can quickly create custom box labels with 2D barcodes that encode the box content information (FNSKU's, quantity) that’s necessary for Amazon to easily process your shipments. Watch the video below to see how you can quickly create custom labels from your IBM i with Formtastic.
